The New South Wales Department of Justice and Attorney General engaged Soem to develop custom applications to measure the effectiveness of their Crime Prevention Programs.

Soem were initially engaged to develop a bespoke reporting application to help measure the success of the for a new crime prevention program being trialed in NSW.

The first version of the application was sent live in 2010 at 3 locations across New South Wales and has since been expanded to new locations across the state as the program is being rolled out.

A second application was developed for an existing crime prevention program in order to measure the effectiveness of the program as well as the productivity of program officers.

Both bespoke applications allow program officers to enter participant data as they are accepted into the program.  As the participant progresses through the program key data is captured in relation to rehabilitative and and educational program participation.

Visual and data reports are generated based on various criteria specified by program administrators and auditors.
